ADRIENNE SORESI

adrien

Adrienne began her quest for a television career landing in the Atlantic City area beating the pavement, creating an opportunity for herself which is her signature personality trait. A position with New Jersey’s only network affiliate was created for her as a writer/producer at WMGM-NBC40. After one year, Adrienne was asked to become part of the stations’ sales team. There she learned the finer points of the business end of broadcasting. Given a yard, Adrienne took a mile with her newfound knowledge of business operations. She combined her love for food, wine and the finer things in life and put together an entirely new concept to market products for NBC40 clients. Adrienne introduced a forward-thinking advertising movement to the South Jersey region called “Better Living Tips”. This concept enabled Adrienne to host her own advertising creation on-air. That was all she needed. From her Better Living Tips, her advertiser/feature franchise, she moved into feature reporting, outside special projects and weather anchoring. Adrienne expanded her Better Living concept to print.  She is also a columnist for New Jersey Lifestyle Magazine.

Having tasted life in front of the camera, Adrienne signed on with several Philadelphia area talent agencies landing gigs with national and regional clients. Adrienne’s reputation precedes her. When she is part of a project, you know you can count on results and ideas that push the envelope with enthusiasm, commitment, professionalism and lots of laughter. One lesson Adrienne has learned over the years is she never takes herself too seriously and she realizes—you are what you invest your time in.

Born August 2, 1972 in Sarasota, FL, Adrienne has always been a motivated, self-starter. A straight A student during her college years at the University of South Florida as an Environmental Policy major, Adrienne minored in Political Science with an internship at the National Safety Council in Washington, DC, a region she considers her second home. She adores horses, equestrian sports, art, fine food and wine—all the finer things in life. Her musical tastes range from Harry Belafonte to Iggy Pop to Norah Jones. Adrienne’s flirtation with the arts came as a result of her father’s influence, Carl Soresi. He was a pioneer on metal sculpture in the early 80’s. His life’s work left her with a lasting appreciation and continued interest for fine art.

Adrienne best describes herself as a motivated, over-achiever with a zero tolerance for the status quo. Fiercely driven, she has continually made her own way throughout her career.
