Festival Highlights

TASTE is what it is all about this fall at the 2014 TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits, presented by Gourmet Shows and being held at the Valley Forge Casino Resort. This year’s Festival showcases the finest in wine, spirits and gourmet foods, along with the talents of local and celebrity chefs. Our annual gastronomical festival in the Delaware Valley, the Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine, and Spirits–will be held October 17-19, 2014 in Valley Forge. This three day event will feature the many award-winning wineries from around the world, including three days of celebrity chef demonstrations, wine tastings, food from the best restaurants in the region at our Zagat Restaurant Row, and food centric exhibits.

Our guests in 2014 include Chef Rocco Dispirito, host of Food Network’s Restaurant Divided, plus cooking shows on Bravo, and a best selling author. Chef Nicholas Elmi, winner of Bravo’s Top Chef in 2014 will also be demonstrating for our attendees. Also Nicole Gaffney, finalist on the latest season of the Next Food Network Star and Tony Luke Jr., host of Spike TV’s Frankenfood

There will be celebrity bottle signings from “Big Ang” from VH1’s Mob Wives, Gary Matthews, former Phillies star, Tim Smith from the Discovery Channels Moonshiners, and Chef Jamie Laurita of The Real Housewives of NJ.  Also from the Mob Wives, the Grazaino Sisters will be sampling their pasta and sauces the entire weekend.

We will be featuring our Celebrity Chef Pavillion, with over 15 TV chefs for you to meet and greet, along with sampling their wonderful culinary creations…not for 1 or two hours, but for the entire weekend.

Tara Nurin who is the Epikur Writer of the Year and Gary Monterosso of the History Channel will be providing an expert voice on beer and ales.  We also will have food pairing seminars with not only wine, but also spirits!
